Knafeh Queens was born out of a love for the traditional Palestinian dessert knafeh, typically served at special occasions. Owner Fatmah Muhammad learned the art of making this sweet and savory treat from her mother during her upbringing. The recipe, passed down to her at a young age, consists of a crunchy outer layer filled with a delicious cheesy center. Now, Fatmah has passed the torch to her daughters, with Rheyanah serving as her business partner and Kareemah as the aspiring baker. Their award-winning recipe has garnered recognition, winning top prizes at various contests, including the Orange County Fair.
