Dr. Hateem Siddiqui was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. After completing his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at the University of California, Riverside, he completed his medical degree at the American University of the Caribbean. He also served as president of the Muslim Students Association during his academic tenure at both institutions. During his time at UCR, Dr. Siddiqui volunteered with a group of individuals organizing to help people in need. This group would later become Sahaba Initiative which was recognized as the 2018 Nonprofit of the Year in the State of California.
After graduation, he went on to complete his Internal Medicine residency at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona, where he received multiple awards. After moving back to Southern California, Dr. Siddiqui worked primarily as a hospital physician within the Los Angeles County system and High Desert community before settling down with Dignity Health Medical Group, where he now serves patients in San Bernardino County as a board-certified primary care physician. Dr Siddqui currently serves as the Board Secretary of Sahaba Initiative Waqf which works to empower the work of Sahaba Initiative through sustainable endowments.
