Sahaba Initiative is transforming a former drug house in San Bernardino into our Food & Wellness Center, which will house our Food Pantry, Community Space, & Musallah.
Our Food Pantry is feeding over 350 families every Saturday. There are many more in need, and the construction will help us expand capacity and meet that need.
Sahaba Initiative Food Pantry is being certified as 1 of 20 Gold Certified Food Pantries in the state of California, complete with a more effective and dignified Client Choice mode.
The Community Space multi-purpose room will be used to host community workshops such as Financial Literacy workshops & Job Training
The Musallah will allow a space for spiritual health & wellness. We have had 40 shahadas so far this year from those inspired by our service at the food pantry.
